David just put up some new Macclesfield Madder ties that are absolutely gorgeous. I have over 80 of his ties and I thought I had everything I needed but he keeps coming up with new fabrics and designs. I must resist, I must resist...oh what the hell, what's a couple more ties!

im clearly under funded in the tie department. Any suggestions on how to get my wife to accept that i need, nay, DESERVE 80 hobers? :satisfied:

D, I loled. As I was contemplating Hober/C&J items last week ..how about a new purse/shoo combo plus dinner for Mrs. D? Worked for me...additional cost but as is well in our humble abode...

I feel lucky in this regard as my wife's tastes run towards asian fashions, such as Modegirl, Sechuna, Lolita, etc, but she's willing to make the same types of deal.

in all honesty, my wife probably wouldnt say sh!t to me with any purchase i make. Its my own guilt that gets me....after i buy something, I remember that she hardly ever buys anything for herself...and NEVER spends the kind of money i do on clothes. so i feel guilty and get her something nice. haha

My wife loves purses, go figure, and we have an understanding...whenever she buys a new purse, I get to buy a new pair of shoes!! We have separate bank accounts so neither of us sees how much the other spent.

And the good news...she just bought a new purse at Bindell's. I want Carmina's but have no idea what size I wear...normally 9.5D US / 8.5UK.

You are to contact the Armoury and tell them you want a 8.5UK in the Simpson last.

My two printed wool challis ties arrived today (unexpectedly, only one week after normal shipping). They are CHPT4 and CHPT7.

These ties are absolutely beautiful and I hope they prove popular enough to become a staple on David's site. They are the PERFECT WEIGHT for year round wool.

Bravo David!!
