It's far from over. It's not like jeter was hitting .400 with power.

Still have 3-4 hall of famers in the lineup.

tons o tickets still available for the yanks tigers game....stub hub had them below market price (around $40 each).... I was tempted to just go watch... but i want to watch football too... might as well toggle between channels in the comfort of my own couch.

Hopefully JV can deliver the death blow Tuesday.

I bet CC starts game 3.

its going to be around low 50's probably for game time at tiger stadium on tuesday.... would be better if even colder for verlander for a bigger power pitcher advantage.

if CC loses big on tuesday.... I wonder if the yankees will dangle him as trade bait to avoid the potential luxury tax hit in 2013.... maybe a package deal with tex.

Arod and Ichiro for sure. Probably Cano. MAYBE Tex if he gets 500 homers.....still about 6-7 years away so probably not.

granted the first two are way past their primes, but still.

Your bitter resentment is unbecoming. We Yankees' fans are above such behavior

The only thing I resent is that the playoffs are **** with the Yankees. Too bad too, all I want is an entertaining game. The dominance put on by the Tigers is leaving me a little underwhelmed.

The developments on the American League side aren't all that important anyway, as the National League representative (i.e., the Cardinals) will emerge victorious in the World Series (baseball championship). 12 in '12, as they like to say around here.

You really think the O's would do better? The O's that finished 2 games back and lost to the Yankees in 5? If anything it would be the same series. Also don't forget that the Yankees outscored the O's 16 to 10 in the ALDS with this comically bad hitting they're doing. I understand that the postseason is a new experience for you but let's be reasonable.

^HA HA, I'm old, I still remember when the O's were in the playoffis in the 90's, so it not THAT new. I've said for a while that the Yankees are old. Old and slow and its really starting to grind on the every day guys. The O's hit an unbelieveable cool streak with both Jones and Davis not hitting. Not because they're tired, maybe inexperienced in playoff baseball, but a lot of it I really do believe has to do with no Markakis in the line up.
