I would only wear that tie in fall/winter personally. Not really because of the weight (I always find it weird when people talk about the weight of a tie...it's not doing anything to keep you warm really) but because of the material and color.

I think sometimes weight and material tend to dovetail. Obviously, as a general matter wool ties are going to tend to be "heavier". But I'd say weight is a factor, too. For example, this tie ^ is pretty thick and heavy, relatively speaking. I'd be less likely to wear it in spring or summer not just because of the fall colors and the material, but also because its heft and the weigh it falls might not match well with the general lighter feel of the rest of an outfit. And I actually have found that on a warm day, having a wool or other "heavy" tie can feel uncomfortably warm and thick - not that it makes me warmer overall, but it can definitely make you conscious of having a warm, heavy piece of cloth sitting on you.

For all those on the fence about chalk stripe, I have had multiple compliments today on my suit...imagine how many if it was a Formosa. And by compliments, I mean people actually stopping in my office to have a full conversation about the suit. @PCK1 is preaching the truth on chalk.

I feel your pain, mine was shaved against my will for stitches. So I guess that makes it your fault.

Dont blame me for your drunken escapades!!!!

I defer (as perhaps you do . . .) to the opinions of the good Mrs. Stitches, but that beard photo totally made me think:

700

I wish I looked like that. At least to have that head of hair.

The wife, however, demands a trim when she feels I look like a lumberjack.

Yes they are.

WARNING: nasty public restroom tile

Lovely feces colored grout!

Shoes are awesome obvi.

@gdl203 Many of the SF affiliates have house brands for certain items. Have you ever thought about having a NMWA brand? (polos/shirts//pants/ties/whatever)

With your style/taste in clothes, and the discount of a house brand/over a branded item, I am sure sales would be ridiculous.

Just an idea that popped in my head

Continuing on what ^said:
1.@jet has been talking about making a "good basics"-brand, and he seems like he got it atleast partially figured out
2. You guys have established customer-base and could give his brand exposure
3. ??????? Get together and make this **** happen
4. Profit!
