Wow, some of the finds on here... but alas, I must admit that I actually found a "dior" jacket... and left it. Haven't seen it again... don't hate! As for my finds over the last few days...

-Samuelsohn flannel pants. My size that I'm keeping! :slayer:
-BB Corduroy jacket. Loro Piana "Sport Fabrics" 100% Cotton. Size 48 L. Available
-Coppely jacket. Wool/Silk/Linen. Sz 44 L. Available. Great Spring Colors!
-Stupid Ugly Robert Graham Shirt. Sz Small. Available

Maybe not brag worthy but oh well. If you want pictures, I'd be happy to put them up.

Today was the day for outerwear. Schott USA leather jacket in a 40, Made in England Aquascutum raincoat and a Barbour quilted jacket.
Also 4 Finamore shirts. One NWT one, NWOT in 18.5. One clean in a 15 3/4 and one in 14.5.
And to prove persistance pays off about a year ago I bought a pair of MII PRL suit pants in my size. What did I find today at a different store? The matching jacket! :slayer:
A few other notables, some Derek Rose boxers NIP and a Cuccinelli shirt. Seriously, I think I need to be in some sort of support group.

Wow - Brioni and Fray shirts one day and NWT Finamore and Cucinelli the next?! Where are you from? Sartorial Thrifting Wonder Land? :slayer:

I left behind 6 or 7 Lori piano shirts, a borreli for BG all in 17. I have no need for more shirts. Anyone want me to grab them in exchange for cost + future hookups? Act quick before I leave the store!

I love plaids/checks and am a size 17! I'll take any of the plaids/checks if for some insane reason you haven't moved them yet!

Good News: I ran into Nataku at the local Goodwill today
Bad News: I ran into Nataku, so I didn't even look =)

haha he does good work! Seriously, his knowledge of (what I think of as) obscure items is incredible!
Dahl, I got the shirt today, I love it! Thanks again :)

:bigstar:

Eh, you didn't miss much. Didn't see anything worth grabbing.

I scored a beautiful D/B Polo RL by Corneliani navy blazer in my size at a different store, though. Tagged a 46 but fits like a 42/44. Crazy peak lapels, loads of pick stitching and a ticket pocket. Side vented too. Kinda on the fence about keeping it. Not sure if I'd ever wear it..

That is it, I time out this thread now! Why did you have to post that beauty right in front me, in my size?
Please keep it Nataku, wear it, stick it in the wardrobe, do whatever, thataway if I get a trade in your 42/44 size, we can front it up rightaway.

looks like PRL, aka Polo Ralph Lauren, aka Blue Label. if it were black label, it wouldn't say Polo, it would just say YOU CAN'T AFFORD ME OR FIND ME IN THRIFT STORES, MEXICUTIONER on the label.

I find these RLBL chambray shirts frequently but the feel crappy and are always Made in China

Why can't people just all donate quality items to thrift stores, it would make our lives easier yet maybe not as fun...

I have been very busy, I haven't check SF for almost a month and finding myself close to 3000 post behind, dang! Anyways is the T.J Maxx/Marshalls hype over? I had an ok day today, I seems to misplaced my camera, I will post pics and details tomorrow.

But quick question, I decided to pass by an outlet mall about 50 minutes from my house, long behold there is a Marshalls in there. I found myself facing a Brioni Tuxedo (50L) for Wilkes Basbford with the $6195 tags still in there, but marked down to $600. Not my size, but i wanna buy it to flip it ( no less than $1500). The draw back is it's ventless, that puzzled me a little to see a new recent Brioni with no vent. would this be a good buy or not considering that it has no vent? But i did get me a $2195 Zegna cashmere/silk sport coat for $149 :)

I've gotten several messages. Will probably divy to spread the good fortune after the wife picks out any for me to keep.
also: PM's will be ignored unless these are your size and you intend to wear, rather than flip them.

WTF someone makes that nice an offer and people are going to flip them

1st day thrifting in a week and all I end up with is a Gitman shirt and these (that's all you get till I get them home and cleaned up next week). Oh yea, they were running a $2 shoe sale for everything that wasnt in the "high end" area.
