Is there a particular flannel cloth you guys recommend for buffing shell?
Also, in the Mac Method is says to wipe with a damp cloth. does the cloth matter? can I use like a handtowel or something? I have always used a slightly different method and want to try this. Thanks!!
Gotta love the ravello. Would be my ultimate pair of chukkas. Do they still sell the chukkas in ravello?
Ravello has quickly become my second favorite shell after 8. CTYGGG...how about the pants...navy flannel Epaulet or something else?
Thanks...JT

Beautiful pair of chukkas!
If I already have the ravello LWB (Alden DC) which is on the darker end of the ravello spectrum, with the dark brown edge, would this purchase be too redundant?
Probably... Though you could say wear the darker one with more formal gear, and the ligher one more casually. I feel that the light version would be an awesome spring and summer shoe.
One of these is likely going up for sale soon
wear in good health your ravello full strap
nephew, looking good in your nst
This Ravello LWB was purchased with a light "antique" finish on the sole. It was not seeing much action until I sanded and dark-stained the double leather sole. Now I'm much happier with it...
