Looks like Cigar to me. Ravello is redder and lighter.

It's hard to tell to but on the inside it looks like it says 1375.

1375/13750 = Ravello Chukka
13132 = Cigar Chukka

Recently picked up a pair of the Officer Shoe in Brown, Alden x Unionmade, 11D on the Leydon last. Love the shoes but the it was my first trip on the Leydon last. They're a bit snug and I would be willing to part with them. PM me if interested.

did you get "D" width? I find the leydon last to run narrow. I had to get an E width

They look similar to other creased up chukkas. Some look worse than that and some look better. They probably weren't a superb fit for whoever broke them in. Who's to say if you bought a new pair that yours wouldn't look worse? If it bothers you then move on.

There's an important fact to remember here, and you touched on it. Whomever sets the first creases/ripples in a shell shoe will have altered its shape forever. The inelastic nature of the material does not bode well for transfer of ownership. Wearing them for years will not eliminate the old creases and replace them with the way your foot bends. I have a pair of whiskey shell chukkas that creased just like those pictures, and it was from whomever tried them on and walked around inside the shoe shop before I bought them (sight unseen, online).

Good thing to remember though, for all those looking to buy used shell.

Very true! Not to mention the cork bed that would've formed to the shape of the former owner's foot if worn long enough. Which could also cause discomfort and obviously not be a great fit

Can I request some pictures of people wearing their #8 wing tip boots and cap toe boots with jeans/chinos? Still trying to decide...
