Hi Profligate,
The snuff upl model is a standard Alden model. I.e., any Alden retailer should be able to order the exact size and width you need. I wonder if you could ask the need supply folks to order directly from Alden and have the shoes drop shipped to you. If this works out, you can save the 10% with their May code and buy some shoe trees or socks.

Sir, I wholeheartedly commend your forthright deference and gracious civility. Yes we share a common interest and affinity for Alden footwear, but what is more important to this fellow traveler is how we try to engage each other as afficianados and gentlemen. Personally I wouldn't care if any SF participant posted a picture of their pet Labrador wearing some beat up Chuck Taylor high tops. It's a free country. Speak and be heard.

Well said BeSpiff. I am a huge advocate of the marketplace of ideas. Be heard indeed, but that also means that ideas may be shot down, hopefully in our case with civility as we all do share a unique affinity.
