Is it normal for the modified last NST to have one side of heel end quarter to be taller than the other?  Picture this http://mouldedshoe.tumblr.com/image/68277432771

Thanks for the help gentlemen. I appreciate the input. I just wanted to ensure I wasn't on my way to irreparable damage.

Yes, they're basically orthopedic shoes, so they have a lot of support on the inside of the foot through the arch. The modified is an interesting fit. I personally liked the way they felt but couldn't get over the look, at least in an oxford. Boots tend to look better. The modified almost made me feel like I was standing up taller which probably means that's the last I should be wearing.

Thanks so much! I highly recommend them. That was the inaugural wear and they were super comfortable. I can see them getting a lot of use. Well, a lot of use for us crazy people which means a couple of times a month... wink.gif

Really like that color on the shell as well - very nice.

Dover #8 at Raglan Castle in Wales. I alternated between these and my AF53 walking 8-10 miles per day without a single blister or pain. Perfect.

Gentlemen, Quick question, can steel tap minimize this kind of wear? this the spot where most of shoes start to wear out.

Are you asking about the toe or the hole in the sole?
The hole. Sorry had to be more clear

I do not believe a tap will help prevent that.
