My new 403s, 5 days old. Driven 700 miles, walked a few more. Hastily laced. They seem to be a pretty good fit so far if not a smidge high in the arch for my flat feet - just need to take it slow with them from here on out.

Additional photos here, if you'd like to see a few more.

This is very interesting in light of the above posts about cancellations .......

I received a tracking number, but as the ShoeMart email said, "even though a FedEx tracking # was generated for this order, we do not physically have this item in stock, so your order has been cancelled and credited." I knew it was too good to be true.

Had a pair of these years ago and got rid of them because I just never wore them thanks to their fleshy/putty color. The whiskey on this pair is fairly dark, so I thought I'd try again. The shell has a shine and depth of color that is truly -worthy. The photos were taken under fluorescent lighting and are an accurate depiction of their color.

For my very first post......
I call bullshit on the shoemart.
They have the cigars.
They packed and boxed the shoes, that's why I received a tracking number HOURS ago.
It took them a while to figure out a nice way to say, oooops we made a $200 mistake per shoe, and by the way, we're not going to honor your order.
In a way I don't blame them. I hate making mistakes in my eBay listings, and then having to pay for return shipping, offer refunds, etc. I guess I do have to be responsible for my mistakes when selling online, but a company like the shoemart does not.
Allen Edmonds made a similar mistake "glitch" on a shell pair earlier this year, they sold a ton of shells at a huge discount. I didnt buy a pair because i didnt like the shoe. From what i read, AE did honor and ship every one of those transactions.
I am bitter today, I'll feel better when I place my next order.

seriously dude, get over it. they made a pricing mistake, they caught it, they fixed it. if it weren't for SF, they would have fixed the pricing mistake on the website before anyone was the wiser. they don't owe you anything. unless they have chosen to keep your money, you're not out ANYTHING. all the rest is just :violin:

It's either the Indy or the color 8 longwing (which it was for me) that gets it all started. Honestly looking back at it I'd say it's worth it.
