Has anyone used this leather defender product for any significant period of time? Alden DC included some in my whiskey Indy purchase. While it goes against the Mac Method, I am considering using it for the cordovan shoes I intend to expose a bit to the rain (cigar PTBs on crepe, maybe these whiskey indy boots)

i just bought a pair of Navy Suede Shortwings. any suggestion to match them with? not in formal dress

Has anyone noticed that The Shoe Mart is listing some makeups in #4 cordovan? They say they have to be shipped from the factory, but I don't think I've ever noticed these.
Not that I would benefit. They start at a hulking 8.5. Can't figure out who wears such gargantuan shoes . . .

Would love to know more about the cap toe boot. Tried to call but haven't heard back. I'm hoping it's a perforated cap toe like the jcrew boot. Anyone know anything more? Last info would also be helpful.

for me, i would do a chinos in a variety of colors. for denim, i'd try and do something a little lighter so you get some contrast with the navy suede (i.e, not a brand new pair of raw denim, though that would like nice too).

Yes. Navy suede is very versatile. When I got my unlined ptbs in navy I didn't appreciate this at first, but that was only because the colour seemed unusual to me. But it does work. Especially in the summer.

I was told its going to be just like the current calf captoe boot they offer on the barrie, so a straight cap, no perf
