I have a band-aid stuck to my arm hair.

I have a band-aid stuck to my arm hair and I'm looking for the least painful way to remove it.

Feel free to mock my masculinity, but I'd really rather not pull it...it's already taken out a chunk.

Any advice?

If you're up for shaving your arm, that's always an option - if you have a straight razor handy, but then there's that masculinity thing again.

Fire. Seriously. It will singe your hair instantly and release you from the shackles that bind you.

Or soak in the tub.

I have DE blades. DE blades without a safety razor have to be at least as masculine as a straight razor. edit: I want it gone tonight and I'd really rather not wait for it to fall off naturally. I'll try soaking it (this is some serious medical tape, though, and I don't think it'll work) then using a blade. Then maybe fire.

Just rip it off, it'll hurt for like 5 seconds and you'll have saved like 6 hours worth of time. Sounds like a winning solution to me.

Alternate solution: soak a sponge in some lighter fluid (Ronsonol or Zippo- walmart, about 2 bucks) and rub the back of the bandage. The lighter fluid will destroy the glue. You can also use lighter fluid to remove ink (even "permanent" markers), stickers, sticky residue, etc from most surfaces.

eh, in a pinch I'd forgive the DE blade. Actually, being DE you run a major risk of cutting yourself open, particularly if your widdle boo-boo is on the right arm. Then you've got another bandage to deal with, maybe even stitches (bonus!) Chicks dig stitches. Unless you tell them you cut yourself because you didn't want to rip a bandage off your arm.

btw, you'd better hope she doesn't get any part of her body waxed, or you're off her "must-sleep-with" list, Mr. I don't-wanna-rip-a-band-aid-off-my-arm.

Finally, you might try a solvent. Acetone, mineral spirits, turpentine, WD-40, or perhps butter (not a solvent but still worth a shot if you have it). Avoid the turpentine if you have a hot date this evening, because it do smell.

Don't forget to burn the excess lighter fluid off your arm with a match afterward though.

Jon, just because you don't have this problem doesn't mean it isn't real for others. Not everyone shaves their whole body, you know.
