Oh my! Liverpool 1 - 2 Barnsley. Who saw that last minute goal? Amazing.

Let's see how long Rafa lasts now. I predict he definitely will not be at Anfield next season. Will he even make it to the end of the season?

I'm a huge Liverpool fan , but I cannot stand whats happening to this team. it definitely needs a change, starting with the manager. omg.

Its like what happened to Arsenal today at the hands of Man UTD. All credit goes to Man U.I stopped watching after four, and went outside to play soccer. One positive is that there's no injuries before AC Milan.

Bring on Champions League!

I am so pleased Barnsley got the goal because 15 seconds before it the ref bottled a blatant penalty decision.
My beloved Man U were frighteningly good and the atmosphere inside the stadium was immense.Seven days ago I was thoroughly depressed after watching us capitulate against City, who says football isn't a funny game.
I see Arsenal showed their true colours again lashing out and trying to cripple Nani they are the typical kid in class who takes his ball home when things are not going his way.

I have put the game out of my head today but really I want to hang my head in shame. Shocking. At least the A-league preliminary final was enjoyable this evening... A Man United fan who lives in Manchester!

Come on man. That's not just Arsenal. Thats any team. Any player from opposing side will get ticked off when a player is running around and pulling off flicks, tricks and doing parlor tricks. not to say that Nani is a bad player.

Arsenal have form for petulance hence 72 sendings off under Wenger's reign.
If Utd were playing Barnsley or Oldham etc...I would agree with you wholeheartedly but when your players are constantly crowing about how good they are they are fair game!

So no away wins in the Champions League tonight so every game is still nicely poised(although I would make Chelsea very strong favourites).
Just one thought, how can Inter dominate in Italy but be so **** in Europe?
I know tonight Materazzi fell victim to Torres diving not once but twice, but Liverpool were outplaying them anyway.

Thats because of the poor quality of the league. a long ways from back in the day when Serie A was one of the strongest leagues.

Anyways, did anyone see Eduardo's injury? what a horrible tackle. people like this should not be allowed to play the game

OH MY GAWDS. I thought that was going to be footage of the play not a close-up of a still photo of the tackle. Gawd, my ankles hurt just looking at that.

Regarding the Italians: who won last year? Maybe I forgot.

Inter won the Scudetto last year.

Think Keegan is regretting taking the Newcastle job yet? They were destroyed today and relegation is looking a real possibility.

Yeah Newcastle definitely needs a shakeup of some sorts. same goes with Liverpool this pic is safe and doesn't show too much. BTW, this is the injury happening. Taylor goes recklessly .. and the rest is history.

A moment of madness...great result for Birmingham though. Clichy lost his head again, I'm sure Gallas had something to say afterwards!

Looking forward to the League Cup final when I get up tomorrow. Just watched the A League final tonight, where Newcastle Jets won. Can't believe Central Coast didn't get a penalty in the last minute though! Their keeper, who was in the Newcastle box at the time even got sent off for presumably calling the referee a cheat! Lots of drama, which was exciting.

Sorry, read it quite literal.

The problem for Newcastle is there seems no room left to manoeuvre. They fired/hired the manager and the transfer window is closed. I cannot see what kind of dressing room shake-up is going to fix that horrendous defence. On a different note, it appears that Grant is living up to people's expectations by being completely out-managed in the Carling Cup final.
