I've had it for a bit over a year, but sparingly used. Hopefully will loosen up, but to be honest, I'm not all that bothered. Love the fabric over anything else. smile.gif

NEED CASUAL LINEN PANTS FOR SUMMER.

I bought a pair of BR linen pants last summer.
They are perfect.

Flat front,
100% linen,
straight fit,
casual and roomy cut

But, I need several more pairs.

Anyone got a line of decent linen pants that aren't $250 ?

Something out of the archives for today - I've not worn today's suit since last August, according to the dry cleaning tags. The jacket feels loose - some more work for my alterations tailor, methinks.

Suit & braces - Paul Stuart
Shirt & tie - BB
Cufflinks - DVVS, NYC
Shoes - Finsbury, Paris

I had the same effect in my Orazio Luciano MTM jackets, which also have soft construction. I also thought it would be the stiff buttonhole. However, the effect has gone away in my most recent commission from them where we added something to the breast width. Anyway, no reason to not wear that beautiful jacket.

You need to tan (via sun or spray) those lily white ankles to pull off the sockless look. That's Côte d'Azur/Palm Beach 101. wink.gif

I'm Chinese. I'm already as tan as most white people will ever get.

Kent Wang, that brown linen suit is beautiful, and your call to the ankle comment made me giggle biggrin.gif

Kent, I love that suit! Is it 2 buttoned?

Had a go at a "Neapolitan" shoulder for this one. I quite like how this came out overall, its a bit like Sean Connery's early bond suits that were made in England to look Italian. By modern standards the coat is a bit too long, the trouser rise too high and the fronts are not cut away but square.

Cloth is about 6 0z 50% silk 50% linen. Coat and trousers are unlined......feels as comfortable as PJ's.
