Their positions are not necessarily lower than others. I just need alterations in a few areas due to my (abnormal) body type.

Size chart for slim fit blazers show different measurements than slim fit suit jackets. Can you confirm this is correct?

You're right. Hasn't been updated. It's the same cut and fit as the Model 2 Suit Jacket. Only difference is the shoulder is modified for no shoulder padding, but the spec should be the same.

Been lurking for some time...when browsing the website the prices stay the same throughout the checkout process even though I'm located in the US. When is the conversion from CAD to USD done?

TIA!

I would think it would be converted by your credit card company, just like if you came to Toronto and used your credit card to buy something from the physical store. The reverse happens when I use my Canadian credit card to buy items from a US site.

I have skinny arms too, but I wouldn't make sleeves too narrow, since I don't want to attract attention to how thin my arms are in the first place! I think as long as shoulders are the right width and there's some suppression at the waist, we shouldn't tailor our clothes too much towards the feminine and lose those aspects of a jacket that add masculinity. Just one guy's opinion.

Conversion is done by your credit card company. On your CC statement, it will show the purchase in CAD and then show the converted rate by the CC company as the final payment price in USD. We have CAD bank accounts so we can only collect CAD transactions at the moment.

This is my first styleforum post, so please take it easy on me gentlemen...

(slightly reposted from my google review. I wanted to make sure the right people see it.)

I ordered 4 suits and 3 pairs of pants online and received my order in less then a week to Buffalo, NY.

I emailed asking if I could return the suits that didn't fit past the stated 15 day (bundled suit) return window, because I would be in Toronto a week later and received a prompt affirmative response.

When we arrived at the store the sales people were attentive and knowledgeable and offered me suggestions about the suits and OTR shirts that fit me best. I returned 2 suits and exchanged a pair of pants no questions asked.

The 40 Contemporary suits fit me better then a Suit Supply Napoli or Havana (5'10"/190 lb).

Rick measured on the spot for MTM suit and shirts for future orders.

I'll post before and after alteration pictures of the 40 Contemporary suit, but the difference will be minimal. Hands down the best OTR suit I have ever purchased.

I told Rick when I was leaving I want first dibs on a US store when they are ready.

Happy 4th of July!

Hi Rick, can you post updated measurements for this blazer in slimfit for size 34 and 36?  Your measurement guide doesn't have Model 2 slim fit blazers on the guide.  Is the waist +1" to the suit jacket sizes like your previous blazers?  I have a 34 suit that fits perfect except I put on a little weight so it pulls when I button up the jacket, so if the blazer is +1" it'll be perfect

I have let out an SM contemporary fit quite a bit. 1" is absolutely not issue. Got for it.

We need to get that updated. We didn't run the jackets in slim before.

34 Slim:

Chest: 37"

Waist: 32.3"

Shoulder: 16.9"

Sleeve: 24"

Back Length: 28.5"

36 Slim is same specs as the suit jacket.

There is nearly 2" inside to let out. Hope this helps.

SO rattled there are no more 36 in the light blue linen/silk.

If anyone needs trousers for the fall/winter, I highly recommend the grey brushed houndstooth, which are on sale for $79. I just wish I held off buying them a few weeks ago and waited for this sale! These are a nice alternative to plain grey flannel trousers, and serve the same purpose.

I'm up to about 20 Spier & Mackay shirts now and wanted to reiterate how great these shirts really are. For a staple work shirt I find the fine and royal twills to be a great fabric that is not too heavy nor too thin/see through. The linens are great for days like today in Toronto where its 30 degrees and the office gets too hot. The linen/cotton blend is an interesting shirt that i'd recommend for those that simply can't wear linen in their office as it provides for much of the lightness and comfort but doesn't look obviously linen when worn under a jacket.

Keep it up and looking forward to the fall/winter collection!

Has anyone got a photo of the mid brown wool/linen sportcoat? @spiermackay? I've was thinking about copping it, but am a little worried it'll be significantly lighter than mid grey trousers.
