I have button downs and most have pockets. Including Gitman. So I have come to live with them but I do not particularly like the look.

Seam ripper

Razor Blade

or

Tailor

Are options for removing pockets; The little holes go away after a wash, I tested this on a OBDC before I donated it, wasn't a cheap shirt, but, I learned I disliked the material and button down collar look with my face/head shape.

Should have added the white ocbd to my last order, Rick. Went for an impromptu hike on Saturday. I feel for the shirt, but it was worth it:

What on earth did you do? Haha. What is all the blue?

^I'm assuming he was wearing it with a pair of raw denim.

@Darkside is correct. The shirt was tucked into a pair of unwashed 3sixteens and layered with a heavy wool sweater when I decided to hike the coastal trail in SF. Was not thinking ahead to how much moving, stretching, and sweating would be involved and the indigo rubbed off.

Fact: The journey would not have been as fun if the OCBD was lacking a chest pocket. I'll be buying another one of these very soon.

After looking at cloth from VBC and Reda 110's, which were really not impressive, and felt a bit rough, the Guabello is actually a bit denser as well as being a bit more refined. If our CAD holds, we should be able to roll these out at $750 CAD ($565 USD)

Also, we received the Guabello books for MTM in as well. We can do 120's in Half Canvas for $1195 CAD for a 2 Piece.

When will the full canvas OTR Guabello 120 suits be available?

This should clearly settle the pocket debate.

S+M I received my navy blazer and a handful of shirts over the weekend and I'm nothing but impressed again. You guys are quickly taking over my closet.

Hope this still winds up being a mid-gray as some of the initial shots showed when you guys were testing a different fabric. If it is, insta-kop for me.

I should have picked up blue oxford in BD while i was there. I went through my shirts on the weekend and they're either too tight or just not quality

ie floppy collar and terrible patterns.

Get those BD rolling Rick. I need to revamp my wardrobe with basic staples

Hopefully by Spring.

I put my phone in the shirt pocket all the time, and occasionally pens. I would really have to reconsider purchasing S&M without the chest pocket on the OCBD's. I'd still probably get it, but I'd have to think about it a bit longer. Just sayin'...

I personally enjoy the pocket on my own, OCBD's. I have 4 different versions of white that I made that span about 3 years. All have pockets on them. Without the pocket the shirt feels incomplete.

So, for us, our OCBD's will always have a pocket. Now as always, if you don't like the pocket, you can always custom make one. As mentioned before, as we grow and demand builds for the non-pocket version, it wouldn't hurt to do a trial run and see how they check out, but the pocket version will become the standard.

These are most likely the 3 shades we will start with for the full canvas program.  From the top down, Mid Gray, Charcoal, True Navy.

For the OCBD's what colour stripes do you guys generally wear?

Light Blue, Medium Blue, Burgundy, Pink?
