My visit to Huntsman

My experience with Huntsman is they emphasize a natural shoulder line but do use some padding. I'm not sure they are dogmatic about it though or that they have a universal approach. Throughout my fittings, I noticed the tailor has decided to change the shoulder a bit. Initially it had quite a bit of padding and very high roping (almost approaching Maurice Sedwell) but he later chose to reduce the padding and lessen the severity of the roping fairly significantly for a more natural look. I did not get the sense that they spend a lot of time shaping the shoulder like I have see from another tailor I work with. You can tell however they make a lot of effort to get an overall lean and fitted look to the body. My suit contours pretty closely to the arch of my back, almost having a somewhat regal look to it. Another noticeable trait is its weight. Huntsman uses a pretty heavy duty canvass. I've attached a few of my photos below....

Always good UnBelRagazzo. I do think, however, that the fabulous salesman Jonathan does deserve some recognition. That is who fitted me for mine when I was there in 2006. Even for an Englishman, I have never heard such a range of inflection from one voice in one sentence. A very fun experience, indeed.

I always pass through the Row but I've been to only 2 shops (OZ Boateng & Mark Marengo...proud owner of Marengo suits bought from their store at Canary Wharf...

I would love to visit Huntsman even though I dont have the budget to buy from them but I'm sure my clients wont mind me recommending something from the Row
