Well, my knitwear shelves are nearly full, and I'd feel bad about asking my wife if I could expand into her side of the closet. :satisfied:

I have no idea yet. I just threw that idea up in the air. Maybe we can also tack on orders for the lambswool version for those who missed their size or color - or those who need an XS

Hey Greg,

Let's do this! I missed my size in S&C "Victoria Burgundy" cadi. I'm in for pre-order lambs wool. :slayer:

That jacket isn't really roomy. It's more cinched with the draw cords pulled but even then, unless sizing up, it isn't cut and sized to layer a jacket underneath. Would need to size up for that.

I don't actually agree with this Greg - I wore mine over a suit or sport coat about 3 days a week last winter. The cut is fairly straight without cinching the waist (its a drawcord like on an M-65).

In the end, I went with the navy S&C lambswool cardigan instead of the camel. I had forgotten :)embar:) that I had an Inverallan 6A in oatmeal, so that was enough knitwear in that tone.

Would you mind posting pics/impressions when you receive it? We are about the same size if I remember correctly, so I'd like to see how it works for you.

I'll try it on again tomorrow but I didn't feel that (using the same size as my jacket) there was enough room for a suit jacket in the shoulders and chest to layer that in between comfortably. I think we're saying the same thing about the waist and drawstrings - that area provides enough room when not cinched tight. As much as the overcoats are totally sized/tagged the same size as the corresponding underlying jacket size (I.e. no need to size up), it didn't feel like that was the case for the field jacket. It felt like I would need to size up for that.

I'll try again in the morning and post an update here.

Will do. I'm 6'2", 160, 38" chest. I'm expecting this to be a little oversized, but hopefully not too much.

Greg,

Any chance you could give as brief description or even a pic of the GRP marled cap? I'm interested in the blue but just want to make sure it is not a longer cap than I am looking for. Or maybe compared to the Oliver Spencer cable hat? Thanks!

It is much chunkier than the Inis Meain or Spencer caps. A really pleasant, soft yarn. Something that is sure to keep you warm. It isn't very long but certainly a beefier hat than the other two.

Maza vs G Inglese. Anyone that has experienced both can comment on differences in regards to fit?

Well, the Inglese has a pleated sleevehead, so the shoulders fit a tad differently just due to the cut of the shirt. The chest on the Inglese feels a bit tighter, but not by much. The biggest difference IMO is that the Inglese tapers pretty strongly to the waist.

Bigi squares insane, will defo kop at least one.

@gdl203, I regret not getting that Inis toggle neck sweater with the big shawl collar that folds in half. Anything like that in the pipeline?
