They look great. Just like you had an opportunity to buy the China Blue ones, I had an opportunity to buy these and passed.

I love how for StyFo doods, myself included, the most important consideration regarding excersize and weight gain/loss is how it will affect your clothing.

Well, it becomes a question of one would rather be well-dressed with one's current body or have to start over after a new workout regimen (though all joking aside, other than a major weightlifting regimen for someone who is not too experienced with lifting or losing 3 or more inches off one's waist, alterations are entirely reasonable). Most people (including SFers) aren't fitness fanatics, so I'm not too shocked that a group of clothing hobbyists value their clothes over being fanatical about fitness (not to say we don't have plenty of people who seem reasonably fit on here) and wouldn't want a workout regimen to interfere with the fit of nice clothes.

Nice, Murl. If I didn't already own about 20 polos from Brooks Brothers / Ralph Lauren (don't ask me how I accumulated that many, though accumulation of clothes does seem to be something a lot of us have in common), I probably would have invested in something like that from NMWA.

Thanks guys. I'm pretty fond of OS and I think this polo came out to about $50...no brainer. Kyle nailed the size recommendation.

I might need to size down on Buttero next time, but these aren't unwearable big...just a smidge.

Looking good, Murls. Are the Butteros a full size large in your experience?
Got a pair myself but still on the way.
(With Greg and Kyle still playing catch-up to emails. Roughly 4 days behind currently, would be my guess.)

Edit: I need to add that the "4 days" statement above mustn't in any ways be misconstrued as criticism, please! Looking at my own emails with the gents, I cannot begin to imagine just how much total traffic there must be to deal with, amplified during hot sales like this one.

Thanks. I'm a 10/10.5UK and went with a 44 in the Buttero. A 43 would probably be snug at first but work out fine once they break in. Ideally, I probably need a 43.5. I'm happy with the 44...no heel slip or anything, just a little room in the toe box.

That somewhat confirms my suspicion. I'm a UK8.5-9 and went with 42. Was suspecting from the start that a 41 might be too snug and a 41.5 ideal. Well, I'll see how it goes.

Somewhere Greg said that the calf leather are the ones with the most stretch after wear-in, suedes and canvas not so much.

Yep, that's why I'm not too worried about it. I'll size down when the tan leather come in. I love these shoes. Even my wife said they were cool and I rarely get anything out of here. Good luck.

Well, for me, once I would get to the point that weight loss, or added muscle, would require tailoring adjustments, that could easily exceed a thousand dollars, the fit on many items would not be right, as often once something is altered to far its just messed up, and it would take a long time to have to slowly have each item tailored as I would need stuff to wear.

Basically, SF is the reason Im not in better shape.
