Since we are on a break from auctions, what are the odds of hosting sales auctions going forward? We used to in the old B&S, but without bumps in the new system, its hard.

Our Eleventh auction for the Ronald McDonald House is for a pair of Wolverine “1000 mile boots”, which will take you most places that you want to go, and an accompanying Filson Mackinaw vest, from Crane’s Country Store. Crane’s is a traditional, family run, general store in Missouri that is the biggest stockiest of Filson in the Midwest, and still sells $1 sandwiches.

The Wolverine Thousand Mile Original Boot, based on an original 1914 design, will be available in any size and any current color (rust 5299, black 5300, brown 5301, tan 5848 Cordovan 8, 137), and retails at $345.


The Filson Mackinaw Vest is style 10055, and retails for $125, and all current colors are available as well. I personally like the charcoal, but ymmv.


Bidding starts at $150 on a retail of $470 for your outfitting needs, whether you are actually going out into the outdoors, or just getting that outdoor look, in the city. Absolutely, $200.

 

I work at a large world class medical organization and we have a Ronald McDonald house in town for the kids that come from all over. Hard pressed to think of a better cause anywhere. And every vendor in this thread went up a couple of notches in my book.

That would be the 744s and it's not possible to do this. They are long gone from Wolverine's inventory.

The auction is for a pair of the original 1000 mile boot in any available color and size along with the vest.

Damn I'm sitting here wearing a Filson Seattle weight vest right now and looking at a pair of 1k 744's and 1k tan Krause sitting by the front door. Along with several pairs of other boots. Someone please come along and save me from myself....
