The Annual Styleforum Gives Holiday Charity Auctions - 2017
We are very proud to present this year's edition of the Styleforum Holiday Charity Auctions, this year in support of the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Spokane (www.rmhcspokane.org)

Of all the many traditions we all have, this is the one of which I am most proud. We are holding auctions of items donated by retailers and designers, 100% of the proceeds to go to the Ronald McDonald House, which helps to house and feed the families of children who must travel for medical treatment. During the holiday season, illness and being away from the comfort of home is especially stressful, and I love that we can help. in a small way. alleviate some of this stress.

This is our 15 Year Anniversary, and we'd like add to the over $60K donated to charity since the auctions started four years ago! Please subscribe to this thread to keep updated on the daily, 24-hour auctions, and please bid often and generously.

Each auction will take 24 hours, starting as close to 10 a.m. PST as I am able to make it, and ending the same time the next day, or 10 minutes after the final bid, whichever comes later.

The auctions will start tomorrow with a set of 2 boutonnieres from GIIN (@GIIN at www.GIIN.style), made from miniature roses taken apart petal by petal, preserved, and reassembled.

Auction 1: In the beginning... Two Beautiful Boutonnieres from GIIN (www.GIIN.style)

Let's start the bidding... now. The first auction will be the longest auction, and will end on Saturday December 2, and 10 a.m. PST.

Up for auction is a combination of any two boutonnieres from GIIN, valued at a total of $190, retail, generously donated by @GIIN

There are many choices to be had:

As for all these auctions, 100% of the proceeds go to the Ronald McDonald House Charities (www.rmhc.org), an organization that helps house and feed the families of children who have to travel for medical care. It's an incredibly stressful and emotionally drainging time for families, and financial issues associated with loss of time at work, only compound those stresses. The Ronald McDonald Houses do their best to alleviate that stress by providing food and shelter and a home away from home for these families. I know that during this time, there are many worthy charities to support, and we really appreciate your taking part in these charity auctions.

We will start the bidding at 1/2 of the retail of this package, or $95. The bidding will go by increments of $10.

Please bid generously to help the Ronald McDonald House.

Cheers,

Fok.

Is there a master list of the Auctions yet? So I can plan my $$$

Same here! Would love a preview of what’s coming.

I just got back from my first real vacation in years, so haven't gotten that together, but a few highlights:

@Lanieri is donating a custom suit using Draper's Cloth
@Skoaktiebolaget is donating a pair of Enzo Bonafè MTO shoes
@gdl203 and No Man Walks Alone is donating a James Grose leather jacket and Buttero footwear combo of the winner's choice.
@SpooPoker and Luxeswap is donating 2 sets of Drakes ties.
@Equus Leather is donating leather goods (tbd)
Falcon Garments is donating a MTM Nylon MA-1 bomber

The full list will be published when I have time to do that, and will be updated continuously. The GIIN boutonnieres are pretty spectacular though, to the point that we are investing in showcasing them in Styleforum's "Maker Space" in Florence this coming January, during Pitti Uomo (January 9-11). More about that later, but if you can make that, it would be a great chance to chill from the general insanity of the fair, have some wine and cheese that we are getting in from Naples, and see some nice artisans making cool stuff.

Cheers,

Fok.
