A Sam (and David) Hober Tie Appreciation Thread

Do you have a pic of both navy colors? I'm trying to decide which navy to buy and can't make heads or tails which color I prefer from the pics on the website.

Wore my forest green grenadine today to work and received tons of complements...many of the guys at work wanted to know where I bought it but I'm hesitant to give up our secrete!

Unfortunately I don't have a camera at the moment...but I doubt my pictures would be at all superior to the website ones anyway. I'd say just order some swatches. It's worth it.

Thanks...but it takes almost as long to get swatches as it does a tie.

Anyone have a pic of the slate blue or dark blue?

Yea but you'll have the tie forever...it is a pain to wait, but it's really worth it to have the actual swatches and be able to put them up next to your jackets and see how they work. You might be surprised at some of the results. No picture will do that for you. Just my $0.02.

Agreed. Pictures viewed on computers can quite easily fail to reproduce the colour with the necessary degree of accuracy. It would be much more useful to view swatches in real life, and waiting a week or so to receive them is not that long in the bigger scheme of things.

Slate blue is 12? I could take a picture of the GFT-10 and GFT-12 swatches (Grenadina Fina), next to the GFT-5 tie I have, but it's quite hard to get the colours right.

That's actually pretty accurate to the swatches I have. But for god's sake, man, just order some swatches! It will alleviate confusion in future purchases. Computers aren't the solution to everything.
