As soon as I get this month's extra pay I'll go hunting for Carminas. Will report on sales...

Really nice wholecut. Would love some more shots! From the back finishing, shots of the sole, and from your own perspective straight down wearing them. (Sorry if it sounds too demanding!)

No problem. it just depends on the lighting when I get home. They've been worn so the sole are not pristine, of course.

Here's a straight down shot from before:

G, I'm surprised how much you shows have lightened up. Look less burgundy and more red

Yeah, I know - might also be an issue with the lighting. They look more burgundy in this shot:

What also struck me was how different the shell looks on the ptb and the wingtip even though it's meant to be the same - perhaps a point to be made on the RL shell thread

Does anyone own this pair, and can post a pic?

http://www.carmina.telemaco.es/articulo.asp?idarticulo=3640219

The site lists it as cognac, and I've searched the thread for cognac shoes, and the shade actually ranges from medium brown to almost caramel. The color shown on the site also doesn't match the colors I found on other shoes posted. So I'm wondering if anyone can enlighten me as to what this would actually look like without distortion.

Epaulet seems to be selling the same shoe, but as you mention it's not clear if "Cognac" is a slightly different color
