Spoo, if you don't mind I ask, why do you have a medusa's head as an avatar?

I find it appropriate for me. ;) My avatars change pretty frequently though, don't read too much into it.

some Chinese lady once told me that a medusa's head is a sign of bad luck. I don't know if you believe in that stuff, but just a thought

Pretty sure the greeks thought that the medusa head was bad luck.

Why the chinese would think it bad luck isn't clear to me.

Thank you, gentlemen, for the entertaining posts for the past 8-9 pages - I thoroughly enjoyed them! Great reading, esp, when you can't sleep and have nothing else to do at midnight! I;ve chuckled a lot here, even with the rants ...:D

I miss Spoo's famous black n white Halloween avatar, esp. when the eyes moved. Maybe it'll be 'resurrected' this Halloween...BTW, what are the kids getting dressed up as this year??

Well, gents, I'm going to give this sleep thing another try - see you later in the a.m. G'night boys!!

it was actually my mother's friend who is a realtor and a feng shui guru who told me to remove a white Versace shopping bag with a silver image of a medusa head that was pinned on my window curtain because I thought it looked nice. This was way back when I was in college and they used to have a Versace store in Chicago. I always only bought the Versace Jeans cologne.

I think the proper Chinese response is to keep plenty of mochi on hand. Just in case.

Spoo actually featured me as his avatar, once. I took it as a complement. Of course I also took Vox's vote for me as a complement for the Friday challenge.

Reason 1,119 why I married Mrs. Spoo - before going away, she told me "We should relax this week, no stress, just relax. I can sit by the pool and you can talk all day to your forum guys".

:inlove:

I actually lol'd to that. Way better than actually cheating with a woman.

very nice, but I would suggest you go for a waistcoat that provides you with more contrast (or matching, of course) - the almost-matching herringbone looks somewhat off to me. unless it is the same color, in which case you can forget this!

Thank you all!

Pants and vest - it's a material and color (flax, wool, silk)
Jacket - it is a different color and material (wool)

I know that is not made to interfere with very similar, but different shades of one color.

But I love to experiment and it is this combination seems to me unusual, but successful, the game is not there shades of jars the eye and creates an interesting roll between similar tones. As if the game coverage.

I understand that not everyone's taste, because it's all pretty moot. But without that time - there is no experimentation. But I love experimenting.

Hi guys,

I need your opinion about this jacket's arm width, both the lower and upper part. Do you think it's too big? Never mind the ugly t-shirt and pants.

Thanks

this jacket is far too big for you in every respect, including arm width.

One moment sunny, the next cloudy... attempting to force the issue with linen...
