Victor, I have also been enjoying your posts. That grey sports coat is especially lovely - would you share details of the cloth?

Friday - bringing some hate..

Very pretty colours/patterns; I like.

I must admit that I'd prefer the suit with flapped pockets instead of patches though. That's one (presumably?) Italian influence I just don't get. Patches are a rustic sort of detail to my mind. Even though that suit isn't super-formal by any stretch of the imagination, it still feels to me that it's formal enough to take flaps instead. *shrug*

Thanks and sorry guys, collar was a deliberate choice.. I generally try to keep at least some harmony between the size of a collar and the size of the tie/knot. If the tie was wider, I absolutely agree this collar would have been too small, but given the tie is probably 2" at it's widest, pairing it with a larger collar woudl tend to lead to this effect:

which is not the look I am going for, lol

Coat is Ermenegildo Zegna

Point well taken. I do like that tie.

Like the shirt/tie and the colors but not a fan of the suit.

- Fit is off - lapels bowing/lifting off from chest is a RTW feature. Something about the shoulders is unflattering but I can't pinpoint it.

- Fabric looks like a lightweight flannel, which is my least favorite cloth. Does not have the body/drape of a solid worsted, nor does it have the rich plushness of a good flannel. Instead it looks flimsy and gauzy.

- The patch breast pocket and the curvy hip patch pockets are distractingly casual. I like patch pockets on suits but the effect should be more subtle.

kgmessier, Thank you!

This is my wardrobe. In fact, it is not very large.

I leave only a certain number of prophetic in the locker room, and sewing or buying new things - old seeding.

I also do audits every year, and then that a year has never dressed - get rid of them.

This helps save space in the closet.

In the rotation is usually about:

50 jackets (including suit couples)
15 vests,
50-60 pairs of pants,
About 100 pairs of shoes
60-70 shirts,
100 ties,
the same sock and breast pocket handkerchiefs,
20-30 cufflinks,
about 60 belts and suspenders
20-25 coats and cloaks,

Very fond of hats and scarves, these pieces of 50 items each. :)

Well, briefcases, handbags - 20 pieces is enough.

I try to stick to that amount.
And get rid of excess.

As a result, wardrobe quite compact, but everything you need in it.

^ Magnificent, Victor! Are these all pieces you personally own, or are you modeling them for fashion spreads? You have such a vast collection.
I was just thinking that. If they are all yours you should post a pic of your closet. Place has to be nuts. EDIT: "About 100 pairs of shoes". Now I definitely need to see the closet.

Thank you!

House to quickly take off on a simple Canon.

A more extensive photo sessions take off my friends, whom I called in every day.

They shot on Canon 5D in general, sometimes on Canon 50D, 5D when it is not at hand.

I have a small dressing room, it is more convenient than a wardrobe.

A part of the seasonal things (in Russia strong differences of climate in the year) is stored in another apartment. Translate them as needed and seasonally.
