ok, maybe its just me, but are we gonna change this to: WAYWRN v. chest shot only, with additional pic of shoes? Without the whole head to toe look, its hard to tell much of anything beyond that you can put together colors that don't clash horribly.

But, but that's how you game WAYWRN!!

Seriously though, Quadcammer is right. This thread is better with larger, full body photos. "But I don't have time in the morning" or "I take these shots in my bathroom, LOL," or "I really don't need any help with fit," are kind of crappy excuses.

Anyway, my contribution for today, same bad picture, same bad channel.

It's odd that you are complaining given that in your pictures practically all you can see is the silhouette. You can see nothing about the colours or textures at all. I'm not sure what anyone can say about your pictures apart from the fact that you are wearing some clothes that look to be within a generally SF-acceptable range of fit.

Surely the question is: what do you - what does any individual - hope to get out of posting?

Personally I don't post a full body shot unless I am aware that there is something I would like to have advice on to do with the overall fit - and then I do add a bad quality robo-pose - and if others want fit critique, I am certainly happy to offer my view. On the whole though, I am aware that I am limited by the quality and placement of the only camera I have right now and, in any case, generally I know when things fit, I know what's wrong and what I would like to be able to do better; I'm simply interested in sharing what I'm wearing today, and seeing what others are doing. And there's nothing wrong with that.

You are generally correct in that my pics suck balls. But I don't have others to take pics for me, nor would I ask them. It also pitch black when I leave the house, so something like NYR's pics won't happen for me. If you want to see texture thats fine. I think the colors do come out though.

I'm not infallible here, but one pic from top to bottom and then those texture/tie or shoe pics can add flair. Upper Crust does a great job with this, but i think he's got help or a good tripod setup.

This is the "What are you wearing right now" thread. Not the "Critique every aspect of what I am wearing right now" even though that is what happens most often.

well, that is actually quite important. many people here need a lot of help with color and texture combinations. as well in putting together items that are coherent in vibe.

i dont post full pics anymore because they are hard, almost impossible sometimes, to get to properly reflect how one actually looks irl. as well, i think at this point i know what good fit is, how my clothes should fit, and how i want them to fit. that is not an area i am looking to improve in atm, and im not interested in 28 people telling me that my hem is 1/4 too long, or that i forgot to hike my pants up for the picture. and then i can argue, well actually it was just the pic, or my tailor has alzheimers.

i honestly either know that already and plan on selling or fixing the item, or its something that i dont find to be an issue. however, when it comes to combinations, i feel i could still use plenty of help, so i post the combinations to get feedback. others may have better ways of getting full pics, and may need help in general fit, so they might try and post full body shots. and that is fine, to each their own.

you do realize that you just complained about one type of fit pic that you dont like, and then proceeded to dismiss why the complaints about your style of fit pic are excusable. point is, imo, fit pics are hard to get, and to each their own. the goal is for people to post things that can either teach others, or so they may be taught from others. as long as that end is accomplished, i dont see the problem. then again, i am a chest feet poster, so im biased.

just my 2c YMMV.

Broke out the fresco SC and linen trousers for a trade show down in Miami.

Jacket: Sammy
Shirt: BB
Tie: The wang
Square; The wang
Trousers: Epaulet
Shoes: Chukkas (Wang)
The belt is medium brown, not sure why it looks black in the photo.

Nice! I really like the shirt and tie colour combo (don't if that is well said), but looks pretty good overall.

I do not have help, but I do have several advantages - my partner's second-newest toy, a Canon G1X camera, with remarkably sensitive light sensors, eliminating the need for flash; a tripod (for the standing shot), and a well-proportioned lamp table (from which I take the seated shot); the habit of laying my clothes out the night before (borne of previous necessity); and an unfulfilled artistic nature and endless personal vanity, which this activity seems to satisfy.

Full body, proxy for Taehwan

I know the jacket is J Press. I have no idea where one gets a quality teddy bear tie like that.

Yeah, my mom usually lays my clothes out on the bed for me while I am in the shower. She combs my hair and preps me before taking my pictures.
