Yeah I've seen those skimpy-collared button downs, and probably even owned one in my late teens, but its really not a good look.

When I pulled on this jacket this morning I didn't think that I would coordinate with this pretty pee yellow wall. Cheers.

This is a concept which is entirely lost on me. I just don't get it - what makes having a collar roll like that so attractive? I don't even own any button down shirts so its more out of curiosity than desire to emulate.

If you're going to wear a buttondown, wouldn't you rather it look like this

+1. I wear OCBD once or maybe twice a week. Always need the roll.
When I see no roll or tie space on other people, I always assume the shirt is not the correct size. Of course this isn't always accurate, as the shirt maker could be the issue at hand. But this is just the perception that comes to mind.

It's cooling down in the city.  New socks and new shoes today.

I've been wanting to get a Kamakura OCBD for a while now as well, but am rather turned off by the strange sizing.

They're amazing shirts, but watch out for the weird sizing. They say it'll shrink after washing, but it really doesn't. For some reason the Japanese think we have really long monkey arms. I've had to move the buttons on the cuffs to make sleeves fit somewhat right. Of course I could have a tailor shorten them, but that's not worth the money imho.

I wear a 15.75 New York slim fit, but the shirt has 35.5 inch sleeves, which is too long for me, while the Tokyo slim fit has 33 inch sleeves, which is too short for me. Need something in between :fu:
