I like this but I fear that you will get comments like "your buttoning point is too high". The jacket have a flannell look and it is then my dream blazer. Let me know if you are a 48-50 and want to sell :-)

I don't think the buttoning point is too high, however I would personally have liked to see a pattern or two. I've done the solid color thing before but I don't really care for it. Good color combinations though, and it is indeed a nice jacket.

Technically, yes, the buttoning point should be, roughly, in the middle of where the two buttons are now.

I think he should get rid of it and start over.

If I could I would lower the buttoning point just a tad but such is the price of OTR. I'm a  36R so I don't like your chances :)

I agree with it needing some pattern but I thought I would try something different today!

I searched long and hard for my grail blue blazer and I think this is as close as I will ever get OTR so I think I will keep it for now. :)

unfortunately for all those walking behind me, it covers my glorious pooper. However, it is double vented, and at times ill lift the flap and give a quick peek to a passerby.

You should be -- beautiful jacket. Did you have a reason for forgoing the buttonhole on the right lapel, or is it your tailor's house style?
