Which part do you want a sample from? tongue.gif

Seriously though, what do you do at your university that requires such things?

Jacket isn't too short; pants have insufficient rise. The belt buckle gives it away.

Stitchy, I think this is how you should wear this jacket. White shirt, black (super dark navy?) tie. If I couldn't see your belt buckle, this would get a solid One Graybeard™. I still want you to consider sizing down your socks, though. We shouldn't see that much of the heel.

I love the 'such things' part smile.gif.
There are hundreds of students from arts unis doing things around fashion week, most of them being much more enthusiastic about it than I am. It's not too uncommon that they send you there, I know people who do fashion journalism (I do something else though) and some will not sleep more than 3h a day from tomorrow until wednesday. Even without any projects these days are off for 'self directed study'.

Wanted try dark grey trousers with this jacket. On balance, I think my lighter grey ones work better. This combination seems a bit, well, "dowdy" I suppose is the right word. I wondered if the brightness of the jumper & square, and the boldness of the check in the jacket, would mitigate that enough for it to work, but the photo suggests "not really". OK, but unremarkable. Worth the experiment though. Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

No, sir. Those are perfect for that jacket.

the great rise debate ! considering all my pants sit at exactly the same place on my waist, the better argument is for the jacket being short. but the correct argument i think, is that the camera is facing upwards from a level beneath my belt, that is why you see the belt.

ed is working on me agreeing to wear my pants higher. lets just say, that is more likely than me wearing a PS.

i agree, i think this is the best way to wear the jacket as well. smile.gif also, tie is black. give me a graybeard (not literally) now!

lol @ the sock issue. the small amount of heel showing, especially considering i am leaning forward and the phone is aimed down the heel of my shoe, is right now the least of my worries.

I LOVE YOU SHUG !
