After these, I only have a pair of Alden’s and my Viberg MTO on order. I *think* I’m done buying boots for a while. I will most likely be thinning the collection a bit.

Strongly considering the Withered Fig shroom oxfords as my first pair of Vibergs. Never been huge into the GYW scene but those look immaculate.

I had to get in on that. Don't need more boots but Viberg oxfords, I can justify.

Those oxfords are really tempting me too. Same as Barrie sizing? Would be my first venture into Vibergs...

When did Lost and Found offer those shell boots?

During their MTO they offered a store unique shell makeup. I think that’s been the case for the last few store hosted MTOs. Rivet & Hide had one as did 3sixteen. Not sure about Division Road.

SO unfortunately even though I'm super appreciative of @NYDRH helping me get a few pairs of Vibergs from the recent sample sale, but unfortunately the 2050 last just doesn't work for my foot. I've posted up a pair of 8.5 olive/brown (calf I believe? not 100% sure) and size 8 reverse black waxed camel side zips on Reddit and Grailed. However, if anyone here is interested, message me and let's see if we can work out a deal - I priced them a lot higher to stave off low ballers, but really I just want to move'em somewhere where they'll be (able to) worn.

Let me know if anyone is interested in pics

Are you saying they simply don’t fit? (just kidding)

I have 8.5 side zips on the way from the sample sale. I sure hope they fit ok. I didn’t go half size up because my foot is closer to a C width if my measuring is correct.

Withered Fig has some sizing comparisons, that’s what I’m gonna use to order.
Thanks, sounds like I might want to go down another half size from my Barrie size. I emailed them, we will see what they recommend.

The guy who wrote the seven month review blog post just shared some of his thoughts on the GYW subreddit. He said that he went the typical half size down from brannock, but in hindsight admits that one size down from brannock would have been better for spring/summer wear with thinner socks. YMMV depending on your foot shape and size but I'm leaning towards that advice if I do go in on this re-order, as I'd like to be confident wearing it year round

Maybe I am making this up, but the side zips feel a little snugger than the Chelseas even though the same last is used. Anyone else feel this way? I also tried the half size up (my brannock) in the side zips, but felt they were a bit big even with thick socks on.

So I'm sort of an 8.25 brannock, which is why I grabbed a pair of 8.5s as well as 8s. The 8.5s definitely fit big - a bit loose in the heel, and a bit long where I'd like the ball of my feet to fit snug, so my feet didn't feel secure in the boot. The size 8s? I couldn't even get my dang foot in the boot. No experience with the chelseas but I'm assuming, with the elastic portion of the throat, putting them on is likely easier.
