You would have to have huge brass balls to remake the Maltese Falcon.

Yes. Don't get me wrong Double Indemnity and Sunset Boulevard are absolute classics but it's very rare for me to find a romantic comedy that genuinely makes me feel 'romantic', The Apartment just happens to be one of those films.

I find it hard to "feel romantic" about a movie where all of the main characters Miss Olsen included are loathsome.

chernobyl diaries.  entertaining.

martha marcy may marlene.  okay movie.  shows you what a cult can do to you, i guess.  liz olson is pretty hot.  like her in the silent house.

Just watched that new Morgan Spurlock movie "Mansome". Waste. Of. Time.

Jason Bateman and Will Arnett bits were the best and funniest parts. But they only account for like 7% of the film.

Why bother with the Franks when the Teutons are right next door and superior in every way? ;)

I understand that it is a cliche to mention Rohmer when discussing French films, but his truly are some of my favorites.

Pointless fact - The Bogart version was the third filmed version.

Structure was too similar to There will Be Blood, and while PSH and Phoenix were amazing the film just didn't have that same level of interest for me. It's like, instead of following Daniel Plainfield's character in TWBB we followed the story of that guy who pretended to be his brother. The PSH character was the much more interesting one.
I don't know. May see it again.
