So Gap has these $29.99 solid color sweaters that look kind of nice, I think. I'm wondering what you would think about,

- form fitting jeans
- T-shirt to prevent sweating
- rather tight sweater

...as an outfit to go out to some bars? Sadly I don't have a picture but I will probably go pick up the sweater tomorrow, I don't have any sweaters and for $29.99 it seems a steal to see if the style suits me.

I love wearing a nice, tight sweater with some good jeans. Use darker denim, though, or it won't look right, IMO.

That describes what I wear probably 80% of the time during the fall and winter. Of course, I do variations on the type of sweater and whats under it but it's extremely vesatile for cooler weather and very comfortable.

Button down shirts only under sweaters imo. Much better under v neck (not too low a v mind). Prefer a lower neck tee under crew neck sweaters

The only thing to watch about doing this is that if your sweater is very fitted, and your shirt not as much, you can get a weird looking bunching effect.
