On the AE website, go to the park ave, then click on "welted 5-65 last" in the text on the left. That should take you to a list of all the shoes on that last. The same thing works with most shoes. I tought 1000 Miles ran narrow. No?

Are these defects acceptable for a new pair of Park Avenues? They were ordered from Amazon and I could get a replacement pair easily. Is Amazon selling seconds?

 

This is all on the left shoe. There are what appears to be cracks in the left and right side of the upper, and a kind of "rippling" in the leather on the back left part of the shoe.

Amazon sells only firsts, and those are not firsts IMO. I would return/exchange.

Agree. Definitely not acceptable for firsts.

Don't know. These are my first Wolverines so I guess I'll find out. Not sure if they even had E or wider.

I am 9E. will buy 9.5 and report.

I am an 8E (not quite 8EEE). I went with the 8.5D on the Wolv 744 shells and they fit great.

The rounded toe gives a bit more of a lengthy feel, but the width is dead on and I think the 8D would have been too narrow for me.

By the way, I have also emailed the shoebank. Chris from the shoebank (not sure which location) said he has 744 LTD 1000 miles in Mahogany cordovan seconds at $399.

BTW they have two shell cordovan Strands 9D, 10E for 400 and change. Regular Strands and Park Aves199. it appears they are using the same computer system as shoebank. So it does not matter where you order perhaps (?)

At this rate Ohio outlet might surpass WI outlet in number of orders from SF
