I'm sorry, I know I'll sound like an ass****, but it is amazing how many guys on here use the word HEAL for the rear part of the human foot and shoe. For chrissakes, it is HEEL! To HEAL is to recover and recuperate from an injury or illness. A foot and a shoe have a HEEL.
Sorry, it just bugs the sh*t out of me every time I see it.

I get that. I hate "here" and "hear" or "there" and "their" or "it's" instead of "its," which all happen much more often on the internet than heal and heel (and which I most likely also do myself.) On the other hand, as long as we are venting on what bugs us, it bugs me that people can't write two sentences without using foul language. It's really uncalled for, regardless of the ******* and what not. It's like I'm on here with twelve year olds playing WoW.

Shoe care thread might be a better resource.

In other news, had my first visit to an outlet store today. Picked up a Park Ave briefcase, a few scarves at a ridiculous off-season price, a couple simple ties to give them a try, and a brogue suede belt I'll need to get cut. The belt selection shown on the Shoebank website is nowhere near what they actually had in shop. Overall a very successful trip, extremely pleased with everything about the experience.

You know what I hate?  1.) The fact that all you guys like the 65 over the 222, so they get rid of the New Orleans in favor of the Shreveport; 2.) People who "hate" when people make mistakes with English words; and 3.) WoW.  :nodding:

I know I've had a few blisters on the heel that needed to heal over the years biggrin.gif

I especially agree with you about the 222 and the New Orleans.

How many times have you put it on and over what period of time? It may be that there's too much wax built up and that it will inevitably crack at flex points. If that's the case, brushing those points for a few minutes until the wax heats up (may need to wipe with a lightly damp cloth before) will make the cracks go away until the next wear. It will likely disappear as the buildup rubs off over time. You could strip some of the wax with renomat if you wanted to get the wax off immediately.

People who use heal instead of heel ARE heels! They're their own worst enemas. Lets start a petition hear on the forum that let's senior users delete massages that have those kinds of misteaks in them. Bad grammar effects the sights integrity! :(

Those Flatirons look great. Unfortunately I've had less than great fit experience with a Fort Collins, which is also on the 333. Do you by chance have one and can compare?

AE has healed this Heel's heels and the hospital in Chapel Hill NC heals Heels. It would take a heel of a Heel to misuse heal.
