Yea. I'm pretty sure I know who that is but forget her name.

Both aren't to bad for me. I can get to the Perimeter one ok but trying to get over 285 or down 400 after that is a nightmare. The buckhead store is much easier since I can get off at chesire bridge and go up Piedmont easily then over E Paces. Plus whole foods is right next door smile.gif Then back roads home.

Discontinued Shaker Heights like the Black, (dark) Brown, and Chili are still $127:

The current (light) Brown/Olive are $255.20. They're probably my second favorite colorway after Chili, but hard to justify over twice the price. ;)

Chris

There is a uber-cheap pair available in my size, but I can't figure out what to wear them with.  I don't wear much black.  OTHH, I would love a pair of brown or chili for cheap!

I wear them with Olive, Black , Grey, & Burgundy cords/chino's/tweeds

Ah....thanks for clearing that up...I was confused as to why I couldn't see the $127 pricing others mentioned....only the light brown/olive is available in my size

nice...

So this is similar to the makeup I want but in Burgundy...eyelets are nice...did not think I would like them on the Dundee...question is do I trunk show the Dundee for $650 or grab Dundee second for $399 and send for resole for $ total in price of $525....Since I have the Brown Townley shell and Bayfield brown shell perhaps burgundy is the way to go?

Decisions Decisions Decisions....

I did ask, but it was during our initial talks, before she got the boot back; she said it'd either be returned to me (1st quality), determined to be second-quality, or - even worse - not suitable for sale. I don't want "C" to happen, and it gets trashed...it wasn't THAT bad. I reminded her of that discussion and am just waiting to hear back.

Got back from Paris to find my wife decided to paint the closet. She took all my shoes and left them on the porch for a week. :brick:

All seems okay, except a heavy crease in one of my loafers and I'm still itching to find out of my walnut cordovan changed color or not  from exposure to the sun -- one shoe of the pair is still at the cobbler.

I'd be a bachelor after that.

Aaargh!!! You could try impressing upon her how valuable your shoes are.....

....but then there's the risk that she may divorce you!

So while you've been gone from your wife a week, someone has been wearing a crease into your loafers and your main concern is whether your shell has lightened or darkened?

OK, I get that.  I totally get that.  :nodding:
