Storing pocket squares

Greetings gents, long time reader first time poster.

I was wondering what is the proper procedure for storing pocket squares? Ties can be hanged or rolled, sweaters can be folded, but I have not encountered discussion about pocket squares. Typically I have folded and stacked them and store them in a drawer.

How does the rest of the sartorial community do it?

I did this once, but then, when I removed it, it seemed like the pocket had stretched out of shape. It was a heavy tweed, too.

I'm overreacting, most likely, but I won't do it again.

Some of my linen squares, particularly solid white, I will leave pre-folded for easy grab and stuff. Periodically I will wash, iron and refold them. I have a tray in a drawer I toss them in. My silk squares and linens that I don't want in a formal fold I have on a couple of trouser hangers (the wire ones you get from the dry cleaner with the little cardboard bar) in the closet. It's not the perfect system because it can be a pain to get to one that's not close to the top. It does avoid fold creases, however.

Yeah, but silk is a pretty bad smoke.

I have a rather tight closet right now, so I just fold up 3 or 4 pocket squares and put them in tie boxes, like the ones that come from Polo or Ben Silver.

Fold & Stack- but it's a pain riffling through them to find the right one when you have a lot.

Would love to have a rotating fixture with clips like you see in the furnishings dept in better stores.

There'd be a way to make money...

I stack all of mine on top of one another and them just fold the bunch over one time. No real crease.
