ILL, Don, Roger: I'm happy to explore this with Reszo if we get the numbers, and potentially it sounds like we have four to start with!

I'm not completely sold on the mix of leathers for this one; I think it's such a pretty design that less is more.  I think 6319 puts it a little between the two in the picture colour-wise: cognac is too light I think, but a mental picture of that lovely 6319 caramel-colour all over the pattern was just the first that came to me!

Don, is the two-leather combo a deal breaker?  If not, let's see if we can get one more on board and make this the fastest GMTO ever, and without even much clogging up of the thread.  If it is, and ILL and Rog like that too, then I'll still go with it.  Otherwise, open to ideas from any and all. :)

I don't want to be a party-pooper, but yes it would unfortunately. I'm very fond of the Antique cognac and was looking for inspiration for an AC-shoe when I stumbled into the MJ version. I believe the make-up would be great and replicate the MJ version best.

@RogerP, yes it's the top shoe in the link I provided. I also believe a darker shoe would be best suited for this kind of make-up.

Next problem is location, seems as you guys are located in the US, while I'm residing in Sweden. I guess that's something that has to be brought up for discussion with Reszo, mimo?

I procured a pair of London 3-eyelet on U-last from Notch a year ago and I love them. I am debating between getting the same pair in Museum Dark Brown or a pair of Austerity Brogue in Museum Dark Brown.

Below are a couple of pics Notch provide me before shipping them out.

Very beautiful model...

No problem, if the others like the scotchgrain face and cap too then I will go with the flow. Payment and delivery I can work out with Reszo.

That's what I'd understood from Don's post - dark brown scotchgrain on the toes and facing, and 6319 cognac for the vamp/quarter. That seems to be similar to the shoe shown in the picture.

You in?

Didn't we agree on brown scotch grain on toes and the area around the laces (facing?) + Antique cognac on the rest instead of 6319 cognac? Am I misunderstanding or are we talking about different things?

I think we mixed up some types of cognac, not the first time! Sure, I can live with that.

why not ask notch, he has handled museum calf GMTO and a few others. Also, Vass was even willing to do different leathers as long as the shoe model was the same. So some people can do the two leathers and others do one. Any widths are available as well.

If that's the case, let me know if you guys start an F last Budapester GMTO...
