Thank you for a well written and informative response. I think what appeals to me with regards to the Moore is the burnishing, while I love the Vass I have I sometimes think that the solid colours offered could do with an addition of burnished styles. Maybe this can be requested? does anyone know? Anyway, atm I am quite torn between the two but I will give it some thought and we will see.
To my experience the AS are a bit "fixed" for the photo sessions. Non of the four pairs I've bought has had the burnishing seen on the pictures at AFPOS and the likes when delivered. Quite easy to fix on your own though.

Yes. Those are wonderful. I do like the double sole as well. How does the sizing feel for you? I recall the both ordered P2 in roughly the same size and there was some discussion as to whether one of us made a mistake. I hope these fit perfectly.

sstomcat - love the plain toe!

Ilovelobbs - those boots are fabulous!

Thank you RP - Mr L Vass was very encouraging in recommending the Black Suede/Calf combo.
I initially came in the shop for all black. Now I want it in Oxblood after seeing your Monks! It looks
very versatile during day/night.

That never goes out of style. Shell or calf? The double sole gives the shoe some real heft.

Cognac calf.

I went 43.5.I wear a 10D in Alden Trubalance/Modified and 10.5 in Barrie and almost all other shoes. Fit is excellent.
