I can't do a side-by-side comparison with different shoes, but the vendor described this pair as sporting three shades of cognac, so perhaps it might help:

thanks! so it's 6125 cognac, antique cognac and... is the last bit cognac or 6319 cognac?

cheers!

6125 dark cognac is just too different, too red , I don't like it, I prefer burgundy or better yet, burgundy shell

Thank you! 6319 cognac simply looks a shade lighter than antique cognac. Am I right in saying that?

Are all the shoes italian polished?

The Antique Coganc my favourite Vass colours -

When i last checked, I think some of the other cognacs like 6319 may not be in stock anymore.

Can someone post a comparison shot of calf cognac vs 6319 cognac vs antique cognac please?

I can't tell the difference between 6319 cognac and cognac. 6319 is rarely heard of.

cognac is a yellow, and 6319 is chestnut. Antic Cog is a red-brown, 6215 is a dark red and the most versatile shoe color, period. Contrasts nicely with trews in greys, browns, and navys whereas shoes in browns look too similar to tan and brown pents.

6319 is a good Summery color.

I do like the cognac color. Actually thinking of purchasing the #75 maybe towards the end of the year.

Forgive my ignorance, but what is italian polish?

Is a high polished treatment they apply to the shoes if requested, no idea why Vass call it like that. I like it for black shoes only.

+1 on antique cognac being my favourite. Such a warm, lovely brown tone.

I ordered a pair in 6319 cognac about two months ago, so they still have it. And don't think they quit carrying any other of the regular leather offerings either. From time to time they don't have all the leathers in stock though, so you might have to wait for them to get a refill of the leather you want.

The dark cognac not too dark (dark brown) and not too light (cognac tan)...it's perfection and goes well with my navy blue pinstripe and beige suits.

My first pair of Vass was a dark cognac...it has this distinctive reddish brown sheen that reflects beautifully with
blue/navy clothes...

Louis XIII be very proud....
