I take an 11UK in Carmina. Went with a 45.5 on the P2 per Rezso's recommendation. Fit is perfect for me. Going to try the F last next in a 46.

+1 on this - I am an 11 in Carmina and a solid 46 in the New Peter; I also have a 45.5 in the Banana last but it's a shade too small.

vass sizing is all over the place. simonc, stmaier, and myself all take a 11uk in carmina but our vass sizing is all over the map. for example in the P2, stmaier is a 45.5, simonc a 46, and im a 46.5, this according to what betty told me in person. It seems like vass marks their pairs inconsistently from one pair to the next. for example, when I ordered my f-last norweger via email, reszo recommended i go with a 45 in the f last (based on my measurements and other shoe sizes). upon delivery, i noticed the shoes were unmarked with a size however the trees were - 45. the trees fit a little small imo, so im guessing my f last norweger is really a 45.5. when I was at vass, I tried on the p2, peter, and 3536, all size 46.5 according to betty. i was a bit confused by the inconsistency so I asked reszo to review my f last norweger order from earlier in the year and he said they were a 46.

so if im to take vass sizing recommendation at face value, for a uk11 carmina:

p2, peter, 3636 - 46.5
f last (sep '12) - 46
f last (april '13) - 46
based off what betty told me, im a 47 in f last however the pair i received is 45.5.

How do you like the oiled green color? And what last is that on?
They are on the New Peter (and just to confuse things, I ordered 45 in these compared to 10.5UK wide/11UK in Carmina Forest last and 11D US TTS). I like the color quite a bit, but then I like green shoes. I have three pairs in the general color range. The oiled leather is nice too. Casual, I think, but very soft and very comfortable.
Thank you!

this sounds about right. i think in general vass sizing follows like this:

us12d

alden barrie 11.5

carmina rain, forest, robert uk11

vass
p2, f, 3536 - 45.5
u last - 46

For me it is:

US 11D

Barrie 10.5E or 11D

Aberdeen 11E or 11.5D

Carmina Forest 10.5UK wide or 11UK
Queens and Soller 11UK
Oscar 11UK (on order, hope it works...)

Which all leads to what I know so far about my Vass sizing, which is:

New Peter 44.5G or 45F

Budapest 45G

My next foray will be to replace the Vass loafers I have with a pair in 45G and to look into the R last.

May try a pair of F last oxfords when Epaulet begins carrying Vass in the fall. We'll see.

Did you try some on in person? Because I'm pretty sure we've roughly got the same size feet, and everything I tried on in their store that fit was a 45,5 except on the U-last, where I needed a 46... I mean, it'll vary half a size for width, but 47 sounds way too big for you...
