Wow, I always though average was around 5'8-5'9... I'm like 5'6 so I definately feel on the smaller side. No homo here, but sometimes I think it's unfair girls wear heels and guys are stuck with at best, dress shoes (+1 inch?). Even double soled shoes ain't gonna help much.

This is true. Unless you've got a 2" kack or are a midget, there really shouldn't be any problem. If you're short, try seeking out tall women. I've noticed that there is an odd attraction between the very tall and the very short. I know a 5' woman who says that she gets mobbed by guys over 6'5. Consistently.

Mantra "I am tall, I am tall"... (not to develop a complex or a chip, just to the point where I "think tall" or forget to be self conscious.). It's more about attitude then anything else. like age or height, they're only problems if you let them be.
