I'm right at six-foot, but I get a lot of people saying 6'1" or 6"2, which conveniently makes them average or 6'.

I think many guys would pay something like 25K for another inch or two, I know I would

I think I read that too, but I'm sure the numbers are skewed by professional athletes. They are both 1) taller than average and 2) highly compensated.

There is also something like, to equal the attractiveness to women, a man needs to earn $25,000 more for every inch or something. Whatever.

Note: being very tall WILL help you with women, all things being equal, it's one of the most sought after keyword chicks look for when using dating services for example.

I feel like it has been a factor in my life. I totally agree that being tall will help you with women. Men generally like slim/slender women, and are indifferent on height. Women are more likely to date someone who is fat, as long as he is taller than them.

Just went out to dinner with a friend (6'7"), his sister (6'1"), his mom (6'1"), all 3 blonde. I'm 6'3" and have to admit it was strange to have everyone looking at us as we walked to our table. I even overheard someone say something about giants haha.
