Sigh... my savings hurt.

Any more info about shoes made of python in general? Would be my first pair.

I wouldn't be able to afford Aldens... even anything from Shoemart irregulars list would be a HUGE expense for me. I need to get a pair from them as soon as I somehow improve my income (I have something cooking, but better not jinx it).

Secondly, this is yet another winter that my butt is freezing, doh baldy[1].gif.

Well, let's just say that I'm lucky to work in outsourcing sphere - though obviously it doesn't put me near our US friends in terms of income. So that kopping pace isn't sustainable for me at all, and I don't foresee big purchases in the nearest future.

To get the topic back to Epaulet, took a pic today on my way to work with aforementioned twill chinos and bean boots:

Fortunately, food and I guess commodities (electricity, water etc.) are cheaper here than in US :-).

I need one of those thick wool Epaulet trousers. We have a ton of snow here and it's still falling. There's a pair for sale - http://www.styleforum.net/t/329580/epaulet-slim-walt-trousers-purple-shetland-tweed-33-nwt-new - but the price :-)...

Just ordered my first Epaulet shirt. How do they fit compared to Gitman Vintage, Gant Rugger, and Wolf vs Goat shirts?
^ I'm trying to figure that out too. I can just fit into a Gitman medium but they're pretty slim on me. Not sure if L or XL in Epaulet is the better choice.

I own a few Gitman Vintage shirts in Medium, and I find them to be about the same as Epaulet Large in that they look fairly fitted but also feel comfortable. Due to the back darts on the Epaulet shirts, I find them to fit better around the torso, especially in the back.

If a Gitman medium fits very slim on you, I'd say you need at least an Epaulet large.

^ This is about right.

I would wear Medium in GBV but the arms are almost always too short, and the blousy back is annoying. You'll likely find that Epaulet large is right on. The neck may be a bit big depending on your, well, neck but otherwise you'll find them an excellent fit. Unless you're super ripped in the chest/shoulders or have freakishly long arms, an XL will be giant on you.
