Mike showed me the slim Italian flannel cargo trousers when I stopped by 2 weeks ago. They're so effin nice I wanted to kiss them. An insta-kop piece for sure.

These will be a definite purchase when they arrive. What colors will you be stocking Mike? Also, tell me more about this WW2 Repro...what kind of fit and colors?

I got my Cmxl Western Belt today (tried it on in store and passed at the time, but once I got home, had to order it online), the Tartan Sale trousers I also tried on, and the sweet sweet 12oz RIvets. Will post a fit pic of the belt later today. Really glad I found you guys, I'm tired of spending ridiculous amounts of $ at JCrew for my casual stuff only to get Made in China crap while lining the pockets of their greedy CEOs.

KG - Those AE Park Ave look great. I just ordered a pair this week. (Amazon had select sizes for 36% off )

You paired them perfectly.

Thanks, man. Not to turn this into an AE thread, but incidentally, I just got a pair of Lombards at half price. They'll go nicely with the Epaulet Donegal tweeds.

Can't wait for autumn so I can break out the cool-weather garb. Who's with me?

Mike,

That patchwork tweed jacket is mind blowing! Will all your tweed jackets come with patch pockets and sueded elbow pathces (please say yes)! Now I just have to figure out how to justify buying that patchwork blazer.

Enjoy your vacation.

I received my Epaulet single-prong belt today, and just wanted to give a shout-out to Mike. This is such a nice belt, and is exactly what I was looking for -- a high-quality belt made out of nice leather, in a simple, every day design.

I'll definitely be picking up a black dress belt once you guys introduce them later on, Mike.

Thanks again!

Got my heavyweight chinos.

+ Blown away by the product
+ Thick enough to feel like denim and for cuffs to look good, while also with a soft finish.
+ Add in the quality of the construction.
+ AND the Cut is perfect
+ Add in the price point. My gawd.

Mike, I know you mentioned getting in olive soon, but any other colors?????

Dbear, what size did you go with on your heavyweights? I'm going to go out on a limb and guess a 31?

I took a pair of size 30s for my first Epaulet chino purchase. They were pretty tight in the seat and thigh, and Mike cautioned me that if I wanted to keep the 30s instead of sizing up, that I would have to be sure not to throw them into a hot dryer. I've been good about it for the past three months or so, but my new housekeeper didn't get the memo, and tossed it in the washer and dryer without asking me first. Now they're way too tight and are literally crushing my man parts into smithereens. It's a shame, too, as the gunmetals were seriously my favorite pair of casual pants.

Let's get a restock going, Epaulet. Size 31 this time! :slayer:

^ yep, 31.

Seriously, perfect pair of chinos. The "heavyweight" kind of threw me off. These are more like "normal-weight" to what I'm used to (Wings+Horns).

Having said that, I'm going to be putting a pair of the gunmetal chinos on sale (32, mis-sized, too big) on sale soon...

We'll run the slim cargo in a medium grey Italian flannel to start, but I'll most likely do it in some other fabrics later in the season. I'm thinking tweed too.

The WW2 pant's going to come in the Walt and Rudy fit. It will have rear flap pockets and a button down watch pocket on the front. It's going to be a great piece - the fabric is thick, heavy, and strong as hell. It's similar in heft to the Japanese heavyweight chino, but it's a British Khaki color with a slight olive cast. It will make a great casual trouser, or you could dress it up with a tweed or casual sportcoat.

And thanks NYT - glad that you're so pleased with everything! We'll have to do an NYC meetup with all tartan trousers some day. Also my friends Two Man Advantage - the Long Island-based hardcore band that plays songs about hockey and beer - is playing Williamsburg on Friday, Sept 9th. We'll have to organize a SW&D field trip to see them. Who could resist this guy:

Thank you! Yes sir, the Tweed Jacket shape is going to be called the "Daltrey," in keeping with my other anglophile names. All of them will have goatskin elbow patches, goatskin undercollars, two front flap patch pockets, and an open patch pocket at the top. The one change from the sample is that we'll use tortoise buttons (like the other sportcoats) rather than the woven leather ones that are pictured.

Awesome, really glad that you're pleased with the chinos! I don't have another heavyweight chino color coming in - the olive tone piece is actually a thick, tough-ass twill. You're gonna love it!

And guys, the new shirts are here! Holy s***! Shooting them now, will have them online in about 90 minutes.
