Isaia Napoli tie @ NMLC - $ 65
Turnbull and Asser tie @ NMLC - $35
Hermes tie @ GW - $3.14

I came across a Commes des Garcon sweater @ GW for $6 in a size large. Does anyone know if that particular label does well either here in B&S or on ebay?

It will do well on Ebay, CdG has a cult following.

Huge haul today: church's suede monk straps: 6.99 3 knit ties, 2 silk square end, 1 wool 2 sportcoats questions: saw 2 beaver fedoras. one sammy daft, one bobby lee both 73/8. I realize there is really no market for fedoras so i would be willing to pick them up for someone. They were in good shape, i want to say one charcoal, one black. They were 24.99 as well, any info on klaus beckler (sp?) will update with pics

Yeah, those will be altered. What about the shoulders and waist? Length of the jackets?

One question. There was a thin briefcase type bag that was either croc or embossed leather. How do you differentiate between the two? Does croc have actual scales or is the texture more like that of the undulations in different leathers, ie elephant.

The biggest difference is that Alligator skin is generally thicker, smoother, and more symmetrical than Crocodile skin.

i meant, how do you differentiate between croc skin and embossed leather. I had a general idea that the scale pattern was for croc after reading a post recently about the differences, but im not sure if it is real skin or not

I think they'd sell on sheer virtue of name...How much they go for is dependent on 1) luck 2) how good you can make them look
