Are you surprised? Never heard of the brits eating fish and chips in baking hot Spain?

We can blame that on a lack of culture but in some cases ,it is a bit of superiority complex...

Seemed okay to me. And his suits looked brilliant [which they should I suppose].

Although he may have hated the food, I am reasonably sure they played it up for the sake of entertainment value.

Do not forget that they do have to play on the character......Posh TOFF with colonial attitude is making more interesting to watch than cultured and respectful understanding of Chinese customs...

That is making good television and stereotypes always work...

His pink shirt and tie combo didn't look that good though.

I was more impressed with the pinstriped double-breasted suit of the younger Poole rep (with the side part) from episode one.

The third episode apart from a basic topic of training seemed to be the place they put all the pieces of film they did not want to throw away but could not fit in elsewhere.

As an outsider my own opinion of which firms benefited from taking part based on what the editors showed us.
Top - Maurice Sedwell - quality, quality, quality
Then - Sexton - style and history
Then - Norton - sensible boss with aiming to do the right thing
Then - Richard Anderson - friendly team

The ones that did not do themeselves much harm or good
Ravi Tailor
Anderson and Sheppard
Dege and Skinner
Richard James
Henry Poole - though their Chinese adventure may put then in the loosers.

The ones who would have lost customers if they had watched the program
Gieves and Hawkes and Ozwald Boateng - even thinking of a "Montague Burton" central manufacturing facility for Savile Row clothes!

The final episode of Savile Row!

There are a few small visual errors in the first minutes. Nothing serious though. If a better versie comes available the current one will be replaced with it. This is more then fine for now, no information is lost.
