Spring feels like a long way away, but not in stores or on-line. This has me contemplating my spring/summer wardrobe and what I want to get in the coming months. I'm thinking

Linen/cotton shirts - I have two being made, which may be enough for 2008
Casual suit - If I can find one, a cheap RTW linen or cotton
Mohair suit - solid light grey, perhaps. I need to see what Tip Top has. This would be Mr. Ned.
Some light weight ties - maybe cotton and linen or light silk
Casual loafers

I have a purple-plaid linen-cashmere 4-button double-breasted blazer that should be ready for the first fitting soon.

I'm actually looking to get rid of stuff more so than buying but I do have a couple of pairs of Mantellassi and some sportcoats and a suit on order with Lance, there will always be the occasional shoe (Vass/Lobb/Kiton) sale purchase and I can never have enough grey wool pants, blue shirts and blue ties.

It doesn't sound like you're making the wardrobe any smaller...

I'm not sure myself. I have a fair number of summer casual shirts, polos, jackets and trousers courtesy Loro Piana, some nice summer suits courtesy RLPL, and I actually want to get rid of a cream Austin Reed suit from a few years back that no longer fits me well.

I guess I could use some more summery shoes. I've been meaning to buy a pair of white suede wingtips for a couple of years now and never got round to it. I bought a cheap pair of specs last year which are decent, but if I found a good deal on a better pair, I'd probably get them too.

I'm sure I'll be tempted by some impulse buys once the new stock arrives in stores.

A fresco suit might be nice, I guess.
