This jacket just came in. I was wondering if it looks possible to do any alterations? It's a little long, and the sleeves are a little big and long.

Just got a pair of black Frye Brandos in from zappos to go with my Surface to Air trench. I can't believe how much I had to size down, I'm normally a 14 or 14.5 depending on the manufacturer, but these are a 13 and theres still a bit of room.

They look great though.

xpost from MC.

I went to order a Jil Sander "Sartorial" MTM suit today.

Fabric: English 120s wool.
Color: Navy w/ blue pinstripes
The 1st picture is a better example of the swatch. I just had my camera phone and bad lighting.

The second I can't remember if it is the charcoal w/ the same blue stripe or the navy in a more natural light by the window. But, regardless you can see the color of the stripes better than the 1st pic.
swatch-1.jpg

Jacket: 2btn, center vent, working sleeve (4) buttons, no lapel hole, flap pockets, breast pocket, fully lined
Pants: European pockets, no cuffs, very slight break.

For those asking "What is the Jil Sander look/cut/shape?" from earlier in the thread I copied down some key words from the Sartorial binder.
The first and foremost is "lightness." To paraphrase you should recognize the suit as being light and comfortable from just looking at it, no matter what fabric is used.
Other things to note are: low, semi padded shoulders; seams directed to the back, long front parts, high button rows and light inners.

$50 but I got lucky after waiting around a few weeks. They're usually $120 off Amazon and $150 through Converse. I also got some custom grey Purcells (since they don't sell it in grey...???) via Converse but probably won't get those in for another month. Aside from them fitting well with just about any kind of jean, they're easily some of the most comfortable pairs I've ever owned.

I got my Baracuta g9 slimfit from OiPolloi today. Freaking awesome! It took only 10 days from England to Virginia Beach. The only negative is the color, dark navy, is pretty much black. Other than that its a winner.
