Hi Leaveitoexperts, we (I am one of the fouders of the brand, thus totally biaised) make our own shoes under the trademark SW1. The (very limited gallery) is about the shoes made in Italy but we also have an extended range of shoes made in England.....

Kindest regards. Fra

However, the design is classic.

Wow, centipede, what don't you have tucked away on your site! I never would have imagined such clear historical precedent for the G&G shoe.
And I especially liked this, the 1905 C&J crocodile derby marked b here: http://centipede.web.fc2.com/CATALOG/OMAKE2/2007.jpg
Please continue to honor us with your posts.

A very comprehensive list but am I mistaken, I did not see Church's Shoes mentioned, I know they are now part of the Prada group the the family still have full contol over the brand and the quality. I have about 6 pairs including city brogues in black- penny loafers in brown and brown suede- tastle loafers in black and brown. The rest of my shoe wardrobe is Trickers for the country and Crockett & Jones, i.e. all things Northampton. I do have a fine pair of Italian Alpine boots but sadly my climbing days are over

Church's is currently one of the worst value propositions in footwear. They sell what are merely good shoes for the price of near-great shoes. Even on sale, they're overpriced. One of the biggest complaints is that they use too much corrected grain in their stock.

That's probably why there's not much discussion of them, except to say that they were much better pre-Prada, and to say what I said above.

Also, if I recall correctly, at the time the list was put together Church's website was being overhauled and may not have been available. Is there one up now?

Are you quoting( inyour honest opinion) or are you stating fact. If the latter I would not agree but there again it is only IMHO

Hey, I would like to purchase shoes from Otsuka M-5 and Lifegear Trading Post.
Do any of you have experiences with either? Thanks
