22 years ago (yikes) I bought a pair on Ios for $3 that were black. Everyone, men and women, wears them to/from the beach. The jute sole will not stand up to much more than short walks on sand. Also fine for lounging around the outdoor bars, drinking a greek-brewed Heineken or Amstel while taking in all the Scandinavian scenery...

Sorry guys ,what's this obsession with being gay and gayness?
Is SF a site for morale crusade from the midwest or Rvr Phelps or a style forum?
Most fashion designers were or are gays therefore the anti-gay lobby if they do stick do their guns (i'm sure they have many of them!!!!),they will be wearing chinese copies of everything!!!!!!!!!!
No Ralph Lauren,Lagerfeld,Dolce&Gabanna,Lacroix,YSL,Versace and so many others....

I think you may miss the humor in a lot of the gay gay gay references. Either a language or a cultural barrier.

No ,it's not a language problem because i do speak english 24/24 for more than a decade but i have maybe missed the irony in some of them ,i do admit.....
Apologies to everyone but anti-gay stuff can be quite unsavoury in some threads with the usual cortege of stereotypes and symbols...
My mum used to tell me "a Joke is only funny as long everybody continue to laugh when hearing it." and she was right......
98% of the forum users are up for a laugh but a little hardcore group on different threads is showing a more discriminatory agenda...
