They were a collaboration between Comme des Garcon Homme + and Cutler and Gross.
If they were a collaboration between Duane Reade and Target would you still feel the same way? You could probably find a similar looking pair at either retail establishment.

No, the glasses are really nicely made, and as such they do not look like a gag thing or little girl pick-up from Duane Reade.
